What is your Twitter handle?
Dogs of War @spirit_blues
Who do you support?
Why do you support them?
Often ask myself this question!!
Dad and Brother supported Liverpool and I wanted to be different I guess plus my Grandfather supported Everton and arranged for my Uncle to take me to Goodison Park back in the 80’s. We were champions around that time and the atmosphere in and around the ground got me convinced to support the Blues.
How often do you get to attend matches?
Sadly, not as often as I would like anymore due to work and family commitments. Probably around 10 games a season across all comps.
Who is your favourite ever player?
Alan Shearer – he was in his prime when I was in mine and I used to love watching him play and tried to model my game on him, right down to the Umbro Speciali’s he used to wear. A Classic Number 9 who put playing for his boyhood club above winning trophies.
What win in your lifetime means the most to you?
1995 F.A Cup win Everton 1 Manchester United 0
Which goal meant the most?
Paul Rideout 1995 F.A Cup Final!!
Which team would you most like to beat this season?
Liverpool. Always Liverpool
Are you happy with your manager?
Wouldn’t have been my choice but will get behind him despite my reservations.
Are you happy with your Board/Chairman?
Not particularly! Definitely time for Bill Kenwright to step aside
Where do you realistically think your club will finish this season?
What opposition player do you secretly admire?
Mo Salah – The progression from the Chelsea version to the Liverpool one is staggering.
Is there a youngster at the club who could become a regular in the side this season?
Ademola Lookman – could fit perfectly into Marco Silva’s style of play.
Who do you think will be your club’s top FPL points scorer this season?
Can you tell us about your FPL history?
Only played around 5 or 6 seasons usually floating somewhere around the top 100k mark, a couple of seasons well under but a couple well over
What would be a successful FPL finish for you this season?
What formation do you generally favour for FPL?
What is the biggest lesson you have learned playing FPL?
Make sure you understand the rule changes each season
When did you use your chips last season and was it successful?
Wildcarded in Week 2- can’t even remember why I did this!!
Second Wildcard in January because I thought it still had to be used by the end of the month!!
Bench Boosted in final Week – disaster, wasn’t set up for it so only got about an extra 4 pts.
Triple Captain – Went Lukaku in one of the double gameweeks when he was at home to West Brom and away to Bournemouth.
Used Free Hit in the second of the reduced gameweeks towards the end of the season and it worked a treat.
Anything else we should know about you?
FPL has been a great distraction from Everton over the last few years and kept my interest in the Premier League when without it, I would have just wanted the season over and probably not watched many other games at all.
Will always remember the Aguerooooooooo moment as I clinched a work mini league victory with that goal – it was the first time all season that I had topped the table and came about by his goal. FPL Can give great moments outside of those given by your club.
Also a big fan of Football Manager.
